About Me
Firstly, a very warm welcome to my website. I hope visiting here will be the first step towards achieving your goals. It can be a daunting experience trying to find a coach—someone with whom you can connect and build a trusting relationship. This, more than anything else, is my primary objective when I begin a coaching relationship. I aim to create coaching sessions that will encourage you to be your authentic self, and I start from wherever you are on your journey.
I have led services in the voluntary and public sectors for several years and have extensive experience in children's services. In 2007, I co-wrote a chapter, Leadership in multi-agency work. The Team Around the Child, multi-agency working in the early years. This is now used in academia.
I qualified as a Coach and Mentor in 2018, having informally coached for many years. In April 2020, I established a successful part-time coaching business. In 2021, I became an accredited Practitioner Coach and Mentor with the European Mentoring and Coaching Council. I currently serve as an associate Coach at The Staff College in Manchester, UK, coaching on programmes such as Aspirant Heads of Service and Upon Aspirant Directors.
The EMCC Global Individual Accreditation (EIA) is an internationally recognised accreditation that demonstrates that an individual practising as a professional mentor/coach has the appropriate level of knowledge and the ability to apply it effectively in their practice.
